We wanted to take the next step in debt management. Our accounting system was not adequately supporting us in that regard. We streamlined our processes and made efficiency improvements across the board. However, we eventually encountered limitations with the system. The advantage was that we had a very clear idea of what the new debt management system should fulfill.
Future-proof and scalable
We conducted a selection process of companies that offered debt management software. It was crucial for us that the system was future-proof, capable of growing alongside our expanding portfolio. Debitan met 4 out of 5 requirements from our list. We invited a few companies for demonstrations and held multiple discussions. Ultimately, Debitan turned out to be the partner we wanted to move forward with.
User-friendly and efficient
What I particularly appreciate about the system is its user-friendliness. It is vital for customer satisfaction. Everyone understands it, and everyone can work with it. Additionally, it’s effortless to see the status of a debtor and the messages that have been sent. This allows us to immediately know what information the customer has received. As a result, conversations are more efficient, professional, and above all, customer-friendly. I am also very pleased with the addition of payment options such as the iDeal link. Customers truly pay faster.
Tips from Wim
For companies looking for a debt management system, I have two pieces of advice. First, align your needs and requirements with the capabilities the system offers. By not fixating solely on your own wants and demands, you can maximize the benefits of the system. Additionally, I recommend organizing workshops between the company and the provider. This way, processes can be well-documented, and there won’t be any uncertainties later in the process. The latter only causes delays.”
