Debitan is a member of the Dutch Association of Legal Collection Service Providers (NowID). It is committed to promoting professionalism and ethical standards within the debt collection industry in the Netherlands. For example, it supports service providers when it comes to training, complaint registration and handling and registration in the debt collection register. Thus, together we guarantee a transparent and reliable service to both consumers and companies. Debitan remains primarily debtor management, but for debt collection processes, we believe it is important that this is done properly, with the confidence of all parties. If you are not satisfied and want to file a complaint, you can do so on the page for our complaints procedure. We find it important to be transparent and to keep communicating with each other. Are you not satisfied with the way we handle your complaint? Then you can submit a complaint via incassoklacht.nl, NowID’s complaints institute.

Quality and official recognition
Since April 1, 2024, the Wet kwaliteit incassodienstverlening ( WKI) is in force. We take this legislation extremely seriously and are therefore affiliated with the Dutch Order of Collection Service Providers ( NOWID). We commit ourselves to the quality requirements and social standards as a debt collection service provider.
